# Proofs of Ownership

Courtesy of the blockchain technology and decentralized management, every NFT owner whose possession is stored in the blockchain is excluded from any risk of compromise and getting access of unauthorized person to the protected information, as well as suspicious access to the possession of NFT. \ <mark style="background-color:green;">Your private key</mark> is what controls the NFT, while the content creator's public key serves as a certificate of authenticity for your particular digital asset.
